Fully 94 percent of life science companies are planning to do an acquisition next year, according to a global survey of 100 senior executives. Seventy percent of those planning acquisitions say they will focus on the hot sector of personalized medicine, where treatments and products are tailored specifically for individuals, often based on their genetic information.
